The Staten Island Lodge # 120 is part of the New York State Fraternal Order of Police, a nationwide organization consisting of over 325,000 members. Our Lodge is a non-profit organization comprised of members, both active and retired, from numerous law enforcement agencies at the federal, state and local levels as well as those who support law enforcement.

Our name may be that of a county in New York but we have members from everywhere in the New York metropolitan area as well as retirees from New York who have moved elsewhere. Our main goal is to provide all law enforcement officers with information on benefits due them. We also research bills in Washington and Albany concerning the betterment of law enforcement.

Our quarterly Newsletter is the means used to disseminate this information. Our Lodge meets once a month on the third Thursday, except July and August, to discuss these benefits and bills. We also support numerous charities including Juvenile Diabetes, the Survivors of the Shield, The Rusty Staub Foundation, and the Leukemia Society. We sponsor scholarships for our members' children and grandchildren as well as a Pee Wee Football and Little League team. Our Rookies Club issues savings bonds to each child and grandchild born to our members throughout the year. We hold two 10-13 Meetings a year and have a Law Enforcement Officer in Need Program for our members who are having financial difficulties. There are several events throughout the year for the enjoyment of our members including a day on Liberty Island in the spring, a picnic during the summer and a college football game with tailgate party in the fall.
